Our Story
MEJARO - meh-JAR-oh

Our story is much like many other small businesses. We wanted to provide more for our family and knew we could do it better and more fairly than the many corporations we'd worked for. Now, after six years, we feel very blessed to have been able to help so many families. We not only like to help families with their home purchases, but we also love to be able to give back to the community. Our time and donations are continually given to non-profit groups, Volunteer Associates (Hoosier 2 Hoosier sale, B-town Hot Summer Nights Festival, and many other charitable organizations). We work hard to provide not just for our employees but also for the community. We strive to continually give to organizations like the Boys and Girls Club of Bloomington, the Auxiliary to the Boys and Girls Club, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Hannah House, Cutters Soccer Club, and Teachers Warehouse, to name a few.
Meet The Team
Rollie Mason
President/Owner/Home Inspector

Although he may bring up the tail end of Mejaro (RO), he is by far the most crucial part of the team. A Certified Master Inspector, his knowledge is at your disposal. He is passionate about home inspections, staying ahead of the technology curve, and continuing education. As an avid IU sports fan, you can catch the family attending as many sports events as possible. As a Downtown Bloomington Inc. and Exchange Club member, he is constantly working to better the community.
Joel Huston
Home Inspector

Joel is cheerful and ready to face any challenge with a smile and enthusiasm. He is a
Bloomington local who loves to get out in nature with his dog Scout no matter the weather. Joel
studied culinary arts before becoming a home inspector, and he usually spends
his evenings cooking, grilling, or working around his small farm.
Candi Horsley
Client Care Coordinator

Candi a rockstar and always looks forward to answering any questions and helping to coordinate your inspection for a smooth and effortless process. When Candi isn't helping our clients, you can catch her enjoying time on the river, fly-fishing. She loves hiking and cooking with her family.

Dillon Mason
Emotional Support Specialist

Dillon has not yet been trained to help with inspections, but he does greet us every day with a smile and a happy tail wag. We call him our silent partner.
Scott Taylor
Home Inspector

Scott is a firefighter, a seasoned inspector, and a Veteran. He's also a graduate of Edgewood High School. His customer-service personality and eagerness to learn everything home inspection-related make him the perfect fit. Don't put him on the spot; if you do, get ready for some Ricky Bobby-esque "I don't know what to do with my hands" fun.
Megan Mason
Owner/Office Manager

She's the ME in Mejaro! Megan graduated from the IU School of Journalism in 1995. When we had the opportunity to move back home, we unanimously agreed that Bloomington would be the only place to live. Not only is she the Office Manager for Mejaro, she also works part-time for Consider It Done Transition Services.
Jacob Mason
Inspector Assistant

The JA in Mejaro. As a college student, Jacob is pursuing a Communications degree focusing on broadcasting. When he is not gaming, hanging with friends, or STUDYING, you may see Jacob helping with an inspection.
