"Strive not to be a success, but rather to be of value" - Albert Einstein

About Us

Mejaro Inspection Services is a family-owned and operated business in Bloomington, IN.   A home inspection from Mejaro will provide valuable information about your home's quality, health, and safety. We strive to be as thorough and professional as possible and take great pride in every inspection. Our company is bound by a strict code of ethics that guarantees quality service and a learning experience. We strive to treat each home as if it were our own. It would be our sincere pleasure to help put your mind at ease during the home-buying process.

Our Story

MEJARO - meh-JAR-oh

Our story is much like many other small businesses. We wanted to provide more for our family and knew we could do it better and more fairly than the many corporations we'd worked for. Now, after six years, we feel very blessed to have been able to help so many families. We not only like to help families with their home purchases, but we also love to be able to give back to the community. Our time and donations are continually given to non-profit groups, Volunteer Associates (Hoosier 2 Hoosier sale, B-town Hot Summer Nights Festival, and many other charitable organizations). We work hard to provide not just for our employees but also for the community. We strive to continually give to organizations like the Boys and Girls Club of Bloomington, the Auxiliary to the Boys and Girls Club, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Hannah House, Cutters Soccer Club, and Teachers Warehouse, to name a few.

Meet The Team

Rollie Mason

President/Owner/Home Inspector

Although he may bring up the tail end of Mejaro (RO), he is by far the most crucial part of the team. A master inspector, his knowledge is at your disposal. He is passionate about home inspections, staying ahead of the technology curve, and continuing education. He enjoys all IU sports; the family still attends most today.

Megan Mason

Owner/Office Manager

She's the ME in Mejaro! Megan graduated from the IU School of Journalism in 1995. When we had the opportunity to move back to the Hoosier state, we unanimously agreed that the only place to live would be Bloomington. Not only is she the Office Manager for Mejaro, but she also works part-time for Consider It Done Transition Services.

Scott Taylor

Home Inspector

Scott is a firefighter and a seasoned inspector. He's also a graduate of Edgewood High School. His customer-service personality and eagerness to learn everything home inspection-related make him the perfect fit.  Don't put him on the spot; if you do, get ready for some Ricky Bobby-Esque "I don't know what to do with my hands" fun.
